Senate Committee Hearing on Security Risks Posed by Certain Foreign Nationals in National Labs

The U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources holds a hearing at 10 a.m. ET on Feb. 20 to examine research security risks posed by foreign nationals from countries of risk working at the Department of Energy’s National Laboratories and necessary mitigation steps.

Witnesses include Geraldine L. Richmond, presidential chair in science and professor of chemistry at the University of Oregon and former under secretary for science and innovation at the U.S. Department of Energy; Anna B. Puglisi, visiting fellow from the Hoover Institution and Stanford University; and Paul M. Dabbar, CEO and co-founder of Bohr Quantum Technology and former under secretary for science at the U.S. Department of Energy.
