I was actually cut the yard right across the street from this one and saw that it was getting crazy tall. I went to go check it out and the owner was in the backyard so I went to go talk to her. Turns out they don’t have a mower and with all the rain the yard has gotten out of control. She’s able to borrow her mom’s push mower every now and then but it got to a state where they can’t cut it anymore. So I told her I’d love to get the whole thing cut back, taken care of, and to a spot where they can easily maintain it. Since this is a big corner lot, there was a TON of work. I spent around 10 hours on this property and got the edges cut back, tall grass mowed, and all the volunteer trees and fence line cleared out. Now I got a really cool idea while I was mowing. I wanted to make sure they somehow had a mower to keep up after I got finished. So, I called up my partner Bad Boy Mowers and told them the situation. This Pokémon Game Boy Color had extremely low sound (virtually none). Replacing the capacitors had no effect. I looked around and it seems there are at least two different kinds of GBC speakers and the one inside this unit is known to go bad. I had already tried brushing it and filling it with isopropyl but that also had no effect. In the time it took me to find the donor GBC I lost my footage of the capacitor replacement and earlier attempts to diagnose/repair the speaker. Oh well. Here is the speaker replacement process, at least. Decided to re-up at double-speed with new voice-over to start a “5min fix/mod” series. ;)

Sinners Movie Review - Ryan Coogler teams up with his buddy Michael B. Jordan for a new take on the vampire genre. The film has a bit of a From Dusk Till Dawn flow to it but a much better outcome. Sinners is like 3 or 4 genres packed into one with maximum success. I enjoyed this film from start to finish and as of now, Sinners is the best movie I've watched this year.
