Remember those Chinese "spy balloons" from a few years ago? No one talks about the one spotted over Montana—or the fact that our military scrambled jets to take it down. I live in Montana and personally watched local videos showing jets roaring over a residential area, with the object smoking as it fell from the sky.

Yet, there was no official acknowledgment, and I couldn't find any news reports covering it at the time. But I saw it happen, in real-time, the day it occurred.
