Trump Says DOGE Dividend ‘Tax Refund’ is Being Considered

Elon Musk has signaled that he will talk to President Donald Trump about DOGE issuing a dividend payment, in the form of a tax refund, with the money that is being saved by their audits. Musk responding to a user on X who had a plan to take 20% of the savings and send it back to ‘Hard Working Americans’ And apparently – President Trump got the message and is considering the move
The post detailed that if DOGE was successful in cutting g $2 trillion in federal spending, that would provide the 78 million taxpayers in the U.S. with about a $5,000 refund with the remainder used to pay down the national debt.

Although DOGE has set a high-end goal of $2 trillion in savings, he said $1 trillion in savings would be a success and that if the deficit is not brought under control, America will go bankrupt."
