Authorities say at least two people are dead after two small planes crashed mid-air in southern Arizona. The National Transportation Safety Board said it is investigating the collision that happened near an airport on the outskirts of Tucson.
The Marana Police Department confirmed the two deaths, but according to the FAA two people were on each plane.
This is the latest in a string of plane crashes, coming shortly after a Delta airliner flipped upside down while landing in Toronto, A plane crashed in a Philadelphia neighborhood, and an Army black hawk helicopter collided with an American Airlines plane near D.C. killing everyone on board.
