Abolish Income Tax? ... Trump: "We could do that" to make America great again #tariffs

We have just begun the first 100 days of the second Trump administration. The president will be returning to a tariff system for funding his government with his new External Revenue Service in the stead of the IRS. He is tossing around the idea that he may be able to do away with income tax altogether as part of his plan to make America great again. This is leading up to the 250th anniversary of American Independence on July 4, 2026 of which Trump says he will host a yearlong "grand celebration" of America.
