Florida Senate Advances Bill to Ban Weather Modification – Aimee McBride Testifies

Aimee Villella McBride, Executive Director of Global Wellness Forum, delivered a compelling statement at the hearing on Tuesday in Tallahassee to Florida Senators in the environmental committee for senate bill 56, expressing the urgent need to ban weather modification in Florida.

This critical bill would prohibit and criminalize any form of weather modification, including cloud seeding, aerosol spraying, and other atmospheric interventions that disperse chemicals, biologic bacteria, and other elements into the environment with the intent to modify the weather or control or dim the sun.

Aimee spoke to how these activities negatively impact air quality, agriculture, and public health. She also suggested the committee members watch "The Dimming" documentary film and shared how testing done by @danewigington and @geoengineering.watch featured in this docu-film have detected alarming levels of aluminum, barium, strontium and more in the environment—raising serious concerns. The scientific evidence of weather modification sample tested demonstrate a clear threat to our environment and our health.

Following her testimony there was rigorous questioning from Senator Polsky (D) who questioned why weather modification is occurring and who's behind it.

The bill was voted favorably out of committee with a 6-3 vote straight down party lines. 6 Republican senators voted in favor of the bill advancing out of the committee, while three Democrat senators opposed the bill advancing.

Next up: the bill will be heard in the criminal justice committee on the Senate side and additional committee hearings for the House version of the bill.
