Dark Souls Remastered | Demon Ruins loot in area surrounded by Mini Taurus Demon NPCs

The loot is a Large Soul of a Proud Knight, which only awards 3000 souls. There is loot deeper within this area that's much more worth the time to get. It's the Chaos Flame Ember.

This place is surrounded with Mini Taurus Demon NPCs. These guys can be hard to kill, but the good thing is that they don't respawn once they are killed. I first cleared the area to show where the loot is and how to get it.

It is very difficult to not die in the lava if you don't first equip the Orange Charred Ring. This ring is acquired after defeating the Centipede Demon, which is the second boss of the area. It's worth it to track back here only after getting the ring if you want to get these items.
