Ontario and Quebec were hit by a major storm on Saturday that continued through Sunday, making it the second in a week. It is the biggest storm of this winter season, causing hundreds of flight delays and cancellations. Global’s Nathaniel Dove reports from Ontario.

Meanwhile, Quebec is expected to see up to 40 cm of snow in some areas by Monday as the winter storm churns through the province. Environment Canada issued winter storm and blizzard warnings for the province. Global’s Dan Spector reports.

The U.S. confirmed plans for its first “face to face” talk with Russia, this week, in Saudi Arabia. But Ukraine officials said they were not invited and would not be sending their delegation. In response to the U.S. delegation's flight to Riyadh Sunday night, European and NATO leaders are holding an emergency summit in Paris on Monday. Global’s Vincent McAviney reports.

President Donald Trump claimed that “massive” amounts of fentanyl were being smuggled from Canada to the U.S. In response, Canada’s new 'Fentanyl Czar,' Kevin Brosseau, is heading to Washington to discuss the issue. But is the claim really true? Global’s Heather Yourex West takes a closer look.

Plus, as tensions between Canada and the U.S. grow, more consumers are looking to buy Canadian. But making products that are fully sourced and manufactured in Canada is no easy feat. Many businesses struggle to find homegrown ingredients and meet strict labelling rules for a “true product of Canada,” Global’s Heidi Petracek reports.
