Today’s guest is Mike Burnett. Mike is a former member of the Secret Service and a recipient of the Secret Service Medal of Valor. He has protected presidents and served this great nation using skills he identified at a young age and was able to hone throughout his career.

During the episode, we talk about his article in the Hill and his position that the Secret Service should prioritize physical protection over financial crimes and cybersecurity. We go through who the Secret Service protects and why. We discuss how grueling a campaign can be for an agent and the assassination attempts over the summer. Mike tells us about how he used his experience in the service to help his business career and now wants to use the experience he has learned in business to help the service.
