Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) spoke at the Senate Commerce Committee Hearing about the urgent need to address our spectrum challenges.

"Holding us back is what I call “spectrum squatting”—the federal government sitting on valuable spectrum resources while our innovators and job creators are left spectrum-starved. The federal government is the largest holder of federal spectrum assets, and when we fail to optimize our spectrum resources, we surrender our edge to competitors like China. Regardless of which federal agency we are talking about, we must ensure our scarce spectrum resources are used to the fullest extent possible."
