'Survive the Savage Sea' (2023) Interview with Douglas Robertson (son)

Douglas Robertson was 17 years old when his mother and father decided to sail around the world, with their four children, on a fifty-year-old, nineteen-ton, forty-three-foot schooner, called, 'Lucette'.

The boat was attacked by killer whales, holed, and sank in mere seconds off the south American cost about 250 miles from land. Shipwrecked, the family, and a one other crew member, survived 38 days adrift with minimal supplies of food and water.

In the interview, Douglas Robertson, talks about how they survived, and what skills and knowledge they used to keep themselves alive.
