We're using Siete Leguas Tequila for this frozen strawberry margarita build. There is just enough sweetness to balance out the sour lime bite with the strawberry and tequila. This margarita variation definition brings the tequila explosiveness, which may come off as "strong", but really it's the tequila flavor driving through the frozen beverage.

Frozen Strawberry Margarita
- 2 oz tequila
- 1 oz triple sec
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 1 oz strawberry puree
- 0.5 oz simple syrup
- 1 cup ice

I suggest a blanco tequila for this without worrying too much about the aged aspects of tequila, as it will be lost within the ice cold strawberry profile.
