Federal Judge Declines to Halt Musk and Doge on Data Access and Cuts

"A federal judge has just rejected issuing an order to prevent Elon Musk and Doge from accessing federal data and reducing staff.

Attorneys general from 14 states are trying to stop Musk and Doge from accessing data in seven federal agencies and from firing or suspending employees in those agencies.

U.S. District Court Judge Chetkin has just rejected issuing a ruling from the bench, so at that moment, he has not stopped Musk and Doge from continuing their actions within the seven agencies.

The issue at hand here, quickly, for your legal training and quick thinking.

Alright. Two Supreme Court justices have subtly indicated that they would like to overturn the current rule. It’s not statutory. Those two are Thomas and Kavanaugh, in rulings in other decisions.

They want to eliminate this rule that allows a single district court judge anywhere in the country to issue a ruling that has nationwide validity.

That’s not what the Founding Fathers had in mind here, and it’s been manipulated.

And you know, the right can do this too, so the left shouldn’t oppose it so quickly."
