The Americans will arrive fully armed as part of a mission to train the Infantería de Marina (Marine Infantry) of the Mexican Navy in conventional and unconventional combat techniques.

According to Senator Alejandro Moreno Cardenas, chairman of the Mexican Senate's Navy Commission, the training will take place from February 17 to March 30 at the Luis Carpizo Naval Base in the state of Campeche.

The Americans will land in Campeche two days before the training begins with a C-130 aircraft, Moreno said.
