Libs Now Saying $600 In Venmo Needs Extra IRS Auditors But $38,000,000,000 Is Just A Rounding Error

Posted • February 17, 2025: The latest Leftist talking point is DOGE is exposing wasteful spending, which is such a small part of the federal budget that it really doesn't matter, so we should just forget about it. Twitter user @sunnyright wonders if that logic applies to his taxes which are a small tiny part of the income the federal government collects. That answer would still be 'they will arrest you if you owe them $100 and don't pay for it'. —— 60 Minutes @60Minutes: “USAID’s spending in 2023 was $38 billion — less than 1% of the federal budget.” —— Shorter: "We investigated ourselves and found no fraud." —— Sunny @sunnyright: “My tax dollars are a far smaller portion of federal tax revenue, so can I skip paying them this year? Is this logic a two-way street or just applicable when it's wasting the money I'm forced to pay?” —— It only seems fair.

Americans must explain the money they send friends to pay for beer or wings or joint gifts for a co-worker, but the federal government shouldn't have to tell us why they are send millions to pay for birth control in foreign countries. It is about funding entities that are destroying America, and about outright theft. Sure we don’t want money “wasted”, but this isn’t just that. It is FAR, FAR worse. There are many layers to why it is necessary. The full extent of the waste and fraud by the Left and their friendly NGOs needs to fully be explored. (…)
