Nebraska State Patrol Says Trooper Was Hit by Snow Plow

(Omaha, NE) -- The Nebraska State Patrol Trooper who died in the line of duty on Monday was hit by a snow plow, according to a press release. Police say Trooper Kyle McAcy was responding to another accident on I-80 between Ashland and Greenwood, southwest of Omaha, when he was struck. Trooper McAcy had been serving for the past 10 years and was stationed out of Omaha.
