Crime Prevention Through Environemtal Design (CPTED)

This video introduces Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED). A concept harkening back to the 1960s and 1970s when cities, homes, and buildings were being used in a manner to reduce and stop crime.
April 7-11, 2025, the Crime Reduction Institute is bringing training to Austin, Texas, for security professionals, city planners, code enforcement officers, police officers, and others to learn about how to use and apply CPTED.
