A question I have, do thermite and nanothermite have different ignition temperatures? I seem to remember that nanothermite has an extremely high ignition temperature, which makes it a very “safe’ incendiary because nothing is going to accidentally set it off. Perhaps and I guess probably, regular thermite might have a much lower ignition temperature, in which case, the early ignition could very well be possible.
