B580 – Feb 16, 2025 Who Is Like God

For the last two Berean Bible Studies we have been reviewing the working of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers and also in the lives of the unsaved. This week we move on with the process of establishing Bible foundation teachings for the Bible prophecies yet to come and the assignment we see for each of the individuals mentioned in scripture.

In this study the Angel in the Bible that is named Michael, which means “Who Is Like God”, is described as a chief prince, or archangel by God’s Word. We look at his interaction with Yehovah, Satan, and with men, and document what authority he has been given and where Lucifer fits in the line of authority on God’s Scale.

We reviewed the three appearances in scripture for Gabriel and we reviewed some of the teachings regarding angels who are referred to as archangels outside the Bible, that have been introduced by the Catholic church and other non-Biblical cult teachings.

Lucifer is introduced as a created cherub and we see in Isaiah of his fall from grace, due to pride and his jealousy for the glory that Yehovah receives. He was a perfect creation by God and began in the Presence of Yehovah worshipping in the Throne room of heaven. When Lucifer fell from Grace, Michael the Chief Prince of heaven, battled him and a third of the host in heaven, and Lucifer was defeated and cast down to Earth.

Our adversary Satan, is roaming the earth today deceiving and causing division within the nations, but when the end of Yehovah’s Plan arrives, Satan will be banned from heaven and three and a half years later, he will be bound and put into chains for the 1000 year Sabbath.

Trust in Yehovah with all of your heart and do not trust in your own abilities. Cry out to Yeshua and accept His free gift of redemption for your life and be filled with the Holy Spirit of Yehovah. Trust in the Plan that will never fail!
