The Bible - God's Word or Rome's Creation?

The 66 books of the Bible—39 in the Old Testament, 27 in the New—were written and recognized by believers long before the Catholic Church emerged as an institution. Early Christians immediately knew and shared Scripture. The Catholic Church later recognized what God had already given—but they also added books that weren’t recognized as Scripture, translated it into languages common people couldn’t read, and even produced corrupted versions.
