"He Gets Us" Super Bowl Ad Commercial (Reaction) - (Mar 11th 2024)

As a former fundamentalist Christian, I couldn't resist the urge, but to respond to this Super Bowl Ad that stirred some controversy among some conservative believers. This idea that Jesus "gets us" and cares about everyone is biblically absurd, if you know the Bible for what it is. On the contrary, the historical Jesus was only concerned about the "House of Israel" and didn't care about us "outsiders." Jesus was born under Judaism, and he was an apocalypticist, that believed he was the Messiah, that would overthrow Gentile rule, and make them all servants to Israel.
