Neighbors report string of crimes in Northside

On a Northside neighborhood Facebook group, residents reported a string of vandalism and other thefts. One woman said someone broke into her shed last week. And almost 50 car windows, many of them in Northside, were smashed last month. Although property crime is slightly up from previous months, overall crime is down, Cincinnati Police Department data show. Violent crime, like homicides and rapes, are down more than 30 percent compared to last year. And total crime is below the neighborhood's five-year average.
