The Bible upholds the sanctity and protection of children. Jesus Christ's profound love for children is evident when He declares, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

Furthermore, the Bible sternly warns against leading children astray or causing them harm. In Matthew 18:6, Jesus states, "If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea." This severe admonition highlights the gravity of protecting children from exploitation and wrongdoing.

The Apostle Paul also emphasizes the importance of nurturing and valuing children. In Ephesians 6:4, he advises, "Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord." This guidance reflects a commitment to raising children with love, respect, and moral integrity.

The Quran, in Surah At-Talaq (65:4), permits marriage to prepubescent girls, stating that those who have not menstruated should observe a waiting period of three months upon divorce. This directive not only condones but also institutionalizes child marriage, leading to severe physical and psychological consequences for young girls.
