SYKE
Kale is a nutritional superfood! The green leafy vegetable is rich in antioxidants, vitamins C and K, and lots of other nutrients that can support your health. Kale is also frost-resistant, making it wildly popular in lots of countries--especially in the wintertime. Many people love kale as an ingredient in smoothies or salads. But in Germany, it is typically served as a hearty main dish with bacon, Kassler meat, and Pinkel--a special type of sausage. This warm, meaty speciality is a must-try, especially during kale season in northern Germany.
