Rottweiler Gets Scolded For Uncontrollable Spinning

This video was filmed in the UK in October of this year, 2018. The owner of these two hilarious pups originally posted the following statement with the video, describing what is going on during the short video: “We had just returned from a walk, and Arnie (Arnie is the Rottweiler) still had energy to burn, so did his famous 'spins.' Unfortunately, this meant wrecking up my rug. Penny (Penny is the husky) does not like when Arnie does these notorious spins. Therefore, she was telling him off.”

These two dogs are obviously great friends and partners in crime. They are also absolutely beautiful specimens of their respective breeds. May we also say that the overall décor of their owner’s home that can be seen in the setting background of the video is quite beautiful and well done!

Arnie, the Rottweiler, obviously adheres true to his breed’s characteristics. Rottweilers are of the “working breeds” of dogs and they are a medium to large breed. Rottweilers are known for having a great deal of energy, and they need to be exercised regularly. This is probably why the owner states that they had been for a brisk walk. It would be difficult for any human to be able to wear out a Rottweiler, though. They were bred for several different purposes, but the top two main purposes were for herding cattle and for protection of both people and property. To be able to fully perform this task effectively and properly, the dog must have high energy to withstand both weather and long hours steadily protecting their home and people. The Rottweiler in this video, also known as Arnie, is undoubtedly a great guard dog for his family. Not to mention, he is absolutely beautiful!

The second dog in the video is Penny. She is a Siberian Husky, and she is also an absolutely beautiful dog. Huskies were bred for very different purposes than the Rottweiler was bred for. Huskies were meant to withstand extreme temperatures in far northern regions of the world. They are often well known for and associated with places such as Alaska and other areas where dog-sledding is popular.

Penny obviously is not a huge fan of Arnie’s antics while he is spinning uncontrollably in the family room of their home. She looks as if she is trying to get him to stop, as if she is the more “mature, older sibling.” Their connection is just too cute.

Huskies were bred for dog sledding and for other purposes where they are needed to work in packs. They are extremely strong dogs, and they were often used for assisting people by pulling large and heavy loads under the harshest of conditions. Being such strong pack animals, this could be partly the reason that Penny is trying to exert a little control over Arnie. It is always fun to try to imagine what pets would say in a given situation if they could talk. Perhaps Penny is saying something like this: “Dude, what the heck are you doing? We are a pack, and we are sophisticated working dogs. You, my friend, are not being very sophisticated right now, so I’m going to need you to stop being an so reckless.”
