Newsom To Spend $9.5 Billion On Free Healthcare For Illegals While Asking Trump For Federal Money

Governor Gavin Newsom is set to spend Billions on illegal migrants, according to California officials who told legislators that the current 2024-2025 budget includes $9.5 Billion for free healthcare for illegals.
This after Newsom met with President Trump asking for federal money - AKA money from taxpayers across the nation - to help with the devastation left behind from the California wildfires
In addition, Newsom recently signed two bills worth $50 Million that will go toward 'Trump-Proofing' California, providing free legal services for illegal migrants, protecting migrants and suing the Trump Administration

According to California's Legislative Analyst’s Office:
"The state has faced significant budget problems over the last two years—by our estimate, a $27 billion deficit in 2023 24 and a $55 billion deficit in 2024 25"

In the hearing a CDOF official said , “In the current year, to cover undocumented individuals in Medi-Cal, we’re spending $9.5 billion total funds,” $8.4 billion of that comes from the state’s general fund.
