Reject: A Super Superhero Story (part 54)

*The CIA Hub that Camille uncovered doesn't just lead her and Fridge to the name Anna Spears it also leads them to clues as to what city Anna might be in. Oddly it seems to be many all at once, the woman seen in New Orleans, Houston, and Atlanta often in the same day. But seeing as how Fridge has decimated most of the crime in New Orleans, both he and Camille decide that answers to who this Anna person is might be better found elsewhere. They each just have this feeling that if the CIA was after her, and if she is somehow involved with the same Serum 7 that got Fridge's wife butchered and turned Camilles sister into Sister Salvation, then hiding in the shadows..with a criminal element...might be something that Anna has been doing for awhile. Fridge and Camille travel up to Atlanta and it is while there that they run into another faction of the Sovereign for Fridge to terrorize until he does get more clues. Not about Anna, but about who might know Anna, someone named Candy Cane, someone all the people of the shadows now fear. Fridge doesn't fear though and he and Camille press on until that new faction of the Sovereign finally relents and promises to take Fridge to Candy. But the Sovereign betray and they only bring Fridge and Camille to a dark alley where suddenly a yellow portal appears and Anna... actually Candy...steps out with many members of the Pure following along. She has taken control of a white supremacist group and the Sovereign, Candy is now running all the gangs along the East Coast as her abilities do allow her to travel great distances instantly. She quickly has all her men attack, but Fridge easily beats down Candys goons until she is forced to bring up those from the Whole who follow her as well. These creatures are her small Pixies and large Big Boys and while her Pixies get her Camille, and drag her through a yellow portal, Candys Big Boys are still no match for Fridge. Only pausing to put on gloves, to help him punch just a bit harder, Fridge finally beats them senseless as Candy escapes while blowing him a kiss [AI Art]*
