High winds cause power outages across Cincinnati area

Duke Energy acknowledged it wouldn't be able to get everyone back on line Saturday night after strong winds knocked out power to more than 30,000 Tri-Staters. Wires and trees were down throughout the Tri-State. Nearly 16,000 customers were still in the dark as of 1 a.m. Sunday, and Duke set new time estimates for restoring power in some counties, according to its outage web page.
