The Real Reason Behind the TikTok Ban

Sen. Mark Warner, at the Munich Security Conference, wants you to know the real story behind the TikTok ban—that Israel was the driving force behind its passage in Congress:

“I want to see if you're going to tell the real story,” Warner said to former congressman Mike Gallagher, a Palantir executive who, alongside Warner, first introduced the bill labeling TikTok a national security threat.

Gallagher responded: “The bill was still dead until October 7th. And people started to see a bunch of anti-Semitic content on the platform, and suddenly our bill had legs again.”
