A speech by John McManus on his book "Changing Commands: The Betrayal of America's Military" that took place on February 28, 1995 in the Hyde Park section of Boston, MA.

This event took place at the Hyde Park Municipal Building. We had a full house thanks to an interview on the David Brudnoy Show the evening before. We had a local choir end the program with "God Bless America" but that part was cut. One reason why I stopped having a Q and A after program was a retired military officer was on hand and made a suggestion which resulted in the Secret Service calling me. The agent was very cordial and respectful. He asked me if I thought that the man in question was a threat. I told him that he was upset over the polices of the Clinton Admin but he just said something stupid at the wrong time.
