Thormurn and Bosi have convinced Lord Celeborn of the great need of Moria, in no small part at the mention of the sorceror, Gorothul. Setting aside the centuries long animosity between dwarves and elves, Celeborn sends some of his own into Khazad-dum to help the dwarves discover exactly what the sorceror is up to and stop it.
