In a revealing appearance on 107.9 Atlanta’s Chosen Journey Show on Thursday (Feb. 13), the singer opened up about how her growing spiritual insights have reshaped her views on relationships and marriage.

Chilli, who has been in a relationship with longtime partner Lawrence since late 2022, explained that her recent Bible study has shifted her focus from the traditional ideas of romance to a more profound spiritual connection. She emphasized that love, for her now, is about understanding and spiritual alignment rather than simply fulfilling romantic ideals.

When asked about the possibility of walking down the aisle with Lawrence, Chilli gave a hopeful answer, saying, “It’s coming soon.” This marks a new chapter in their relationship, and fans are eagerly awaiting their next steps.

The couple confirmed their relationship in late 2022, after initially keeping it private. They were first spotted together during the holiday season in Atlanta, where Chilli’s family resides. Though they were seen in Waikiki, Hawaii, in 2021, they weren’t yet romantically involved.

Chilli and Lawrence made their relationship Instagram official on New Year’s Eve in 2022, sharing an adorable video of them dancing in matching pajamas to a-ha’s hit song “Take On Me.” The fun post was captioned, “#newyearsshenanigans #onesiegang #wecute.”
