Sundew Tangler is a member of the Enlighten-Mint family.
Sundew Tangler costs 100 Sun.
Sundew Tangler can not be destroyed by zombies.
Sundew Tangler will ensnare any zombie which gets close to her.
This trap will hold the zombie for 12 seconds. (+2 seconds per level.)
Sundew Tangler will drain 26 health per second. (+4 to +20 damage per level. 120 max.)
Every eight (8) seconds, Sundew Tangler will release some Sun from trapped zombies. (-1 second on levels 2, 4, 6 and 10.)

Commentary:
Sundew Tangler is an interesting plant. It does not produce Sun directly but rather converts life essence from a trapped zombie to Sun. This is a good thing. However, if the zombie expires before producing any Sun, the process will need to be restarted.

Sundew Tangler doesn't mind being a front line plant because of its invincibility. Trapping a zombie means said zombie can not advance on the lawn. This makes for a decent stall.

Bottom line:
Sundew Tangler is a good example of why specialization beats a jack-of-all-trades.
Sundew Tangler does generate Sun, but not enough Sun to be really useful.
Sundew Tangler does eliminate zombies, but very slowly and only singularly.
Sundew Tangler does stall zombies, but very slowly and only individually.
Sundew Tangler is a cute plant. We like it. It's just not an effective plant as it does not do anything particularly well - just a few things marginally OK.
