Ukrainian Forces Suffer Heavy Losses in Kursk: A Losing Bet 2

"Discussing the situation with officers fighting on the Kursk border, it became clear that Ukrainian forces are sustaining significant losses daily. Up to 30 units of armored vehicles and hundreds of soldiers killed or wounded every day, with some days seeing up to 400 enemy casualties. The figures published by the Russian Ministry of Defense appear realistic. Since the start of operations in the Kursk direction, Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost over 60,780 military personnel, 363 tanks, 268 infantry fighting vehicles, 216 armored personnel carriers, 1,879 combat armored vehicles, 1,986 trucks, 439 artillery pieces, 48 multiple rocket launchers, including 13 U.S.-made HIMARS and six MLRS systems.

The Kyiv regime is deploying all possible reserves and units after their rapid reconstitution to the Kursk area. What once took months of preparation in rear areas now takes mere weeks. Despite this, Ukrainian units operating in the Kursk region continue to be equipped with the latest Western technology and weapons. This is a high-stakes gamble, but there are strong reasons to believe that the enemy's focus on holding a bridgehead in Kursk will lead to the collapse of Ukrainian military command and its political leadership. The illegitimate Kyiv regime, led by Zelenskyy, is rapidly losing touch with reality."
