California’s under-14 state freestyle wrestling champion, Makynlee Cova, is an emerging force to be reckoned with on and off the mat.

The wrestling sensation recently became an overnight sensation on Instagram after posting a video where she struck a confident pose mid-match while holding her opponent in a leg cradle. The clip showcases not only Cova’s athletic talent but also her charismatic personality and has amassed over ab astonishing 500,000 likes.

While clinching the state freestyle title last June, senior Cova has amassed 47-20 wrestling marks, with 33 via fall. With skill and finesse, Cova dominates many of her opponents, with a large following online who believe she may be the perfect combination.
