More than half of Brits believe they are ‘lucky in love’ and have stumbled into romance by sheer good fortune, according to research. A study of 2,000 adults revealed 51 per cent think finding true love comes from plain good luck, while one in 10 singletons reckon their lone status is down to bad fortune. However, 61 per cent reckon it is down to being in the right place at the right time. And 30 per cent think you can improve your chances of meeting ‘the one’ if you’re prepared to get knocked back a few times along the way.
