From Darkness to His Will

Song I crafted in pain and depression recently.

Lyrics:

Verse 1:
In the silence of my heart,
Where darkness plays its part,
Anxiety, a serpent's dart,
I seek the light, the sacred start.

Chorus:
I lay it all before the throne,
In prostration, I'm not alone,
In my weakness, His strength is known,
Not my will, but His be shown.

Verse 2:
Through the night, my soul does cry,
In the depths, I lay and lie,
But I rise with the morning's eye,
To the One who hears my sigh.

Chorus:
Bring my fears to His embrace,
Kneel in faith, seek His grace,
In the struggle, find His face,
His will, my guide, my place.

Bridge:
Beneath the cross, I find my peace,
In humility, my soul's release,
From my will, to His, I cease,
Strength in surrender, His increase.

Verse 3:
With each prayer, I offer more,
To the One I do adore,
In His name, I'm made secure,
From despair, to hope restored.

Chorus:
I cast my burdens at His feet,
Prostrate, in His love complete,
In the darkness, His light sweet,
Not my will, but His, replete.

Outro:
In the silence of the night,
I submit to His holy light,
From my struggle to His might,
His peace, His love, His sight.
