Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has touched down in Washington DC, ahead of talks with U.S. President Donald Trump.

The visit comes as New Delhi announced cuts to tariffs on premium motorcycles.

The decision is welcomed by American manufacturer Harley-Davidson, whose difficulties breaking into the Indian market became a rallying cry during Republican campaign events.

Modi joins a growing list of world leaders seeking to reshape their relationships with the United States.
