How do you define enlightenment? Spiritual enlightenment or awakening is the experience of non-duality and full oneness. It is an experience beyond self and is often referred to as non-self, no-self, or selflessness (this is a step further than ego-transcendence). It is also the experience of all-encompassing oneness. This video offers a brief description and definition of enlightenment (Buddha-mind = ordinary or everyday mind).
