Sharon McPhail agrees to stay out of charter school during settlement talks over her firing

Former Detroit City Council member Sharon McPhail has been in disputes over the years. Today she was in court, fighting to keep the job she’s had for the last six years, operating the Detroit Community School, a private Charter School. The authorizer of the school, Bay Mills Community College fired McPhail, but she refused to leave and then went on vacation.
