Audi RS3 vs BMW M140i: Which Is Better?

The BMW M140i and Audi RS3 have been going head-to-head for years—but which one is actually the better car? In this video, I put my modified M140i up against a modified Audi RS3 to see how they compare in performance, handling, sound, 0-60 and overall driving experience.

There’s no doubt that the RS3 is the faster, more capable car, with its quattro AWD system, 2.5L turbo five-cylinder, and razor-sharp response. But is it £10k+ better than a well-sorted M140i? That’s where things get interesting…

💰 Value for money: The M140i offers 80% of the experience for nearly half the price, making it an unbeatable bargain.
🚀 Performance: The RS3’s launch control and AWD grip make it feel unstoppable, but the M140i’s RWD setup is more fun in the right conditions.
🎶 Sound: The RS3’s five-cylinder warble is iconic, but the B58 in the M140i still sounds great—especially with some mods.
🏁 Handling: The RS3 is sharper and more planted, but does it lose some of the playfulness that makes the M140i special?
