Generally Recognized as Safe.

We are not 70kg rats. We absorb and metabolize substances very differently. It's fair to say that a problem in a mouse could indicate a possible problem in a human. But an absence of a problem in a mouse doesn't make an additive safe.

Think about what you consider food and consider 🤔 whether or not you want to play Russian roulette with your body. Freedom of choice.

Assumption based toxicology. The company can have its own scientists look at the evidence and decide that the product is GRAS. If there is a problem later, you might never be able to show it was due to that particular additive because they are not all on the label.
