I think that you have not been informed what SNAP Program is. It is food from a grocery store that anyone with regular money could buy. The government is giving that benefit to recipients to purchase food. The type of food is commonly purchased that is cheaper than the healthier version of the same food. So, whether or not it is a child in a lunch line or a ln unemployed Cole worker in California isn't the argument. Instead, it's the obvious fact that there are lots of items that are not worth your money or consumption. This, by the way, has been an age old dilemma. Even Jesus had to watch what he ate, and so, in his likeness, so should we! Next we will need to go through exactly what's available to the general public, and limit it in that way. Glad that Vance FINALLY met with Zelenskyy to get the Ukrainian view on the war and the long history of Moscow’s aggression towards their neighbors. Of course, there are thousands of Ukrainian Americans living in Ohio, but Vance obviously never bothered speaking with them or trying to help other Republicans get Ukrainian-American votes. Ukrainian-Americans were 90% Republican until Bush I gave his infamous “Chicken Kiev” speech urging Ukrainians to stay in the genocidal Moscow Empire. Republicans with elite educations who isolate themselves from Slavic Americans tend to be pro-Moscow, whatever they do. In my experience, East Indian American immigrants are very influenced by Moscow propaganda as well.

Sad to see Vance parroting word for word such Moscow propaganda as Ukraine “canceled elections” and “closed churches”. Elections will be held when residents return to occupied areas, if ever. Vance wants to turn Ukrainian territory over to Moscow, who will hold “elections” with Putin winning. Ukrainian Orthodox churches were re-opened after the FSB corrupt ROC clergy were sent packing. Vance mentioning that Ukrainian Christmas carols were sung in Ukrainian Orthodox churches in the first time in 2023, but only because the genocidal Muscovites lost control of Ukrainian churches. Some Moscow-occupied churches were in such neglect and disrepair that they are closed for cleaning and repairs. Vance’s narrative improved when he started talking about mass Muslim migration. His closing remarks used the logical fallacy of using the anti-Moscow Pope John Paul’s words to “bless” his very pro-Moscow speech. Definitely more Nixon detente than Reagan boldness against tyranny. Disappointing, but Vance is a product of his very limited data about the world and an American educational system that has always favored the Moscow Empire. I didn’t hear any enthusiastic applause, certainly not a Kennedy or Reaganesque speech.
