In this episode of Along the Rock, host Mark Morris speaks with Tom Wadsworth and Chris Tennyson about the Lee/Ogle/Whiteside Regional Spelling Bee.

Wadsworth has been moderating the bee for 43 years.

Students in 5th through 8th grade compete at their local schools for a chance to qualify for the Regional Bee. Each participant receives a study list of over 1,500 words to memorize.
