"Why Poetry Matters." Gubnit Ni Dhuinn, "born and bred' in Ireland, holds undergraduate and post-graduate degrees in Literature from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland, and Oxford University, England, respectively. Armed with over a decade’s worth of lecturing at Ivy League institutions, she relishes the opportunity to expound upon the power of poetry to broaden and deepen our intellectual, emotional, and spiritual perspectives. In line with her Buddhist practice, currently she teaches a course entitled "Comprehending Life Through the Medium of Poetry" in the Creative Aging program at The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts.
