Maxime Bernier vows to defend the economy of Beauce and all of Canada in the Trump Era

People's Party of Canada leader Maxime Bernier held a press conference today in St-Georges-de-Beauce to announce that he will run again in the riding he represented as MP from 2006 to 2019. He devoted most of his speech to commenting on the economic situation in which Canada finds itself as a trade war with the United States looms on the horizon. In his view, instead of imposing retaliatory tariffs on U.S. imports, a deal should be proposed to Donald Trump that would include supply management.
