On today’s episode, we welcome Gary L. Wimmer, a man who quite literally stepped beyond the veil, into the boundless realm of the infinite mind, and returned to tell the tale.

In 1977, at the age of 29, Gary L. Wimmer found himself swept into an overwhelming surge of psychic ability that crescendoed into a week of extraordinary perception. Then, as if scripted by the cosmos itself, he was struck head-on by a speeding car, launching him out of his body and into the unfathomable vastness of the universe. He recalls floating beyond time, beyond identity, into a space where thought and reality were indistinguishable, where the pulse of the infinite mind breathed existence into everything. It was not darkness, nor was it light—it was pure knowing, the space between all questions and all answers.

But the universe, for all its expansiveness, had other plans for him. As he drifted in this cosmic ocean, the tides reversed, and he found himself being pulled back. A tunnel of light formed, and suddenly, he was once again tethered to the Earth, lying in the middle of the street, surrounded by horrified onlookers. No broken bones, no wounds—only the indelible imprint of the infinite on his soul. The paramedics arrived, their faces etched with confusion. How could a man be struck by a car at full speed and emerge without a single scratch? He tried to explain, but language is a fragile vessel for such experiences. Words crumbled beneath the weight of what he had seen.

“The truth is,” he said, “everything we go through, the good, the bad, the impossible—it all serves a purpose. There are no accidents, only cause and effect.” The doctors didn’t know what to make of his revelations, and so, in an all-too-human response to the incomprehensible, they admitted him to a psychiatric hospital. For ten days, he resided among the so-called lost, playing music for fellow patients, earning the affectionate title of ‘Mr. Smiles.’ Yet even within the sterile walls of that institution, he knew: the mind is not confined by flesh, and the soul is not bound by form.

Months later, as the echoes of his near-death experience continued to reverberate through his being, his guides—those unseen architects of his journey—returned with a simple, powerful message: “You had this experience because you wanted to know.” It was an affirmation of what he had always sensed. The soul thirsts for truth, and when we are ready, the universe provides. His experience was no accident; it was an agreement, a sacred design meant to unveil a deeper understanding of existence.

In his journey beyond the veil, Gary glimpsed not only the timeless nature of consciousness but also visions of Earth’s unfolding destiny. He saw the turmoil of transition—the struggles of modern civilization, the storms of change that would precede a greater awakening. Yet, in his vision, beyond the chaos, a new era emerged—an age of peace, a world in harmony with itself. It is not a distant utopia, he assures us, but an inevitable shift, the natural course of our collective evolution.
