The crises in the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Michigan Conference of Seventh-day Adventist Church continues. It results from the original ongoing problems of the disagreements on the statement of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventist Church regarding COVID-19 vaccination. The General Conference of Seventh-day Adventist Church does not give exemption support for her members. Sadly, some Seventh-day Adventist Church institutions even mandated the COVID-19 vaccines the employees. Therefore, the firing of Pastor Ron Kelly is part of the ongoing conflicts in the Seventh-day Adventist Church regarding the statement of the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church regarding COVID-19 vaccination mandates. It is another evidence of challenges on Religious Liberty and Liberty of Conscience in the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

This is an unfortunate escalation of conflict within the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The Michigan Conference of Seventh-day Adventist Church firstly banned Pastor Dr Conrad Vine from preaching with the conference. The conference later put Pr Ron Kelly, the Head Pastor of Village Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Michigan Conference of Seventh-day Adventist Church on administrative leave. Now the Michigan Conference of Seventh-day Adventist Church dismissed Pastor Ron Kelly.

Sadly, the events illustrate that the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 EVENT. The statement of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventist Church regarding COVID-19 vaccination triggered the disciplinary actions on some Seventh-day Adventist leaders who express views that are contrary to the views of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The church does not recognise exemption of her members from the COVID-19 vaccinations. Sadly, some church institutions even mandated COVID-19 vaccines. Thus, in overall some members lost jobs and others developed disabilities due to the COVID-19 vaccine mandates.

Let us continue to pray for God's leading. The Seventh-day Adventist Church is experiencing challenging events within the church.
