s Jesus Independent or Dependent as God? | Sam Shamoun

Sam Shamoun a well known Christian teacher goes over the question that muslims often bring up on the trinity and Jesus being God in the bible whether Is Jesus dependent or independent from the father . They make the case that if he’s independent then he’s a separate 2nd God but if he’s dependent then he can’t be God because he’s depending on someone but this is not the case because when we clarify our position according to scripture in the new testament in the book of John . The Father Son and Spirit never do anything outside of each other rather they work in union and exist in those roles because they are what they are but they are not independent where they are seperate Gods or depending where they need each other rather it’s because they’re in union they’re inseparable and when the father does something it’s because the son and spirit also did same with if the son did something the father and spirit also did . That’s why Jesus says i myself can do nothing but only what the father does showing they all work together by one will as one God
